What your about to see are the visual experiences of hundreds of artists and almost a decade of events dedicated to creating opportunities for artists of every kind. It was started by 2 artists Kim Johnson and Ruzo Logic

In September of 2014 we just wanted to have fun and make art so we started building giant canvases and invited as many others as we could? This turned into a method of making art called Guerrilla Artz. It started with a few friends, and we had some ideas to build giant canvases out of reclaimed wood from a local pallet yard. We had support from the community like First Friday and Chris Fahlman. There were companies that donated supplies like paint from Dunn Edwards Paint, brushes and things from Blick Art Supplies. Mostly we just worked really hard for little to no money while going to school and living on student loans.

We invited students from Las Vegas Academy of the Visual Arts and artists from the Arts District where we lived and managed all this. Soon we were getting asked if we had openings to try one of these giant canvases. We built as much as we could and did all two people could do.

2016 was a big year. We launched Painting Bugs and Butterflies with the LVMPD dedicated to Inner City youths. Then MGM Resorts offered us some corporate events at a new location called Park Vegas where we hosted about 100 artists.

By 2019 we launched Painting Cities to Life with Zappos.com for academic artists. This was dedicated to emerging students interested in learning street art. We built 51 canvases around hosted students at the Zappos campus. Most of these paintings are on loan to student union galleries at the College of Southern Nevada and curated by Jeff Fulmer.
