Academic Art for Everyone

Academic Art for Everyone.

Painting Cities to Life is the challenge designed to introduce emerging academic artist to the community and challenging each student to explore beyond their previous experiences. We work out the details and seek out educators to recommend us to their students. There is no shortage of interest and we welcome everyone who wants to try. Our method is to start with a theme and let the artists imagine what they can. The only goal is to empower artists and give them a voice in public art!
Most of these paintings went on and are on loan to 3 student union galleries at the  various campuses of the College of Southern Nevada, curated by Jeff Fulmer.

Over the years we have strived to provide artists with unprecedented opportunities. By 2019 we launched Painting Cities to Life with the Zappos.com team of Emily Bell Boeckman, Miguel Hernandez and Tyler Williams. Painting Cities to Life was founded by all of us and dedicated to emerging students high school and college levels, interested in public art. We built 51 opportunities for close to 60 students performing at the Zappos campus. Most of these paintings went on and are on loan to 3 student union galleries at the  various campuses of the College of Southern Nevada, curated by Jeff Fulmer.

In Public Arts

If every work of art in public has an artist as its provenance and the artist is the most important part of that provenance.
Shouldn’t the community see more artists performing art in public?
