We had a challenge for Artists to Paint for Pepsi to launch their new brand, 1893!
MGM Events management came to us asking if artists could launch this brand.
We said absolutely!

Ideas were submitted and the 3 featured artists were selected. However our sense of inclusivity required us to make room for as many artists as possible and since we were going to be on the property we worked out opportunities and rewards for an additional 10 artists to perform as visual artists along side the 3 featured artists.

What happened was sheer joy and pride for everyone involved!

Corporate Art

He steps out of an alley wearing vans or DC’s his hat bill is turned up and he’s carrying some kind of sack or bag filled with ad-hoc stencils and spray cans of paints. His conversation is guarded and his words can ramble a bit. But when he paints! Thats when DEKOE becomes this 6 foot 5 monster of art. Laying in the foundations over foundations preparing for the stenciling to come? What best describes DEKOE is the complicated stenciling designs that he will spend as long as it takes to execute with the precision of a surgeon. Pulling out netting or a drain board full of holes he uses things he finds in the trash or walking down the alleys to make patterns with contrasting colors, metallic paints, or just throwing paint off a paint can cap. He is the quintessential street artist with all the trappings of your friendly neighborhood guy in the hood. His finished work will rock your world and blow your mind…

Performing in Arts

If every work of art in public has an artist as its provenance and the artist is the most important part of that provenance.
Shouldn’t the community see more artists making art in public?
